Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Slow Range LLC ("Stow", "we", "us"), the company that makes Stow. They cover the Stow app and the website at stowmap.com. By using Stow, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Stow.

If you downloaded Stow from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your license to use the app. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Stow.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and our Community Guidelines are part of these terms.

2. Who can use Stow

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stow. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.

3. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.

4. Your content

You own the photos, posts and other content you add to Stow.

To run Stow, you give Slow Range LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, adapt (for example, resize or crop) and display your content inside the Stow app, and to show it to the people who can see it under your settings. We won't use your content in advertising or marketing outside the app without asking you first.

This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the record of removed listings described in our Privacy Policy and copies we must keep by law.

Only post content you have the right to share: photos you took, or ones you have permission to use. Don't post other people's private information.

5. No tolerance for objectionable content

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content and behavior that break our Community Guidelines are not allowed. We may remove content and suspend or end accounts that break these terms, at any time and without notice.

6. Conduct

When you use Stow, don't:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
• Harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone.
• Use Stow to follow, track or locate a person without their consent.
• Post spam, scams or listings you know are false.
• Access other people's accounts, or try to get around our security or limits.
• Scrape, copy or collect data from Stow by automated means, or interfere with how Stow works.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except as the law allows.

7. Listings, places and your safety

Listings describe events and places, drawn from public sources and from people who use Stow. Details change: times, prices, locations and whether something happens at all. We don't guarantee that listings are accurate, complete or current, so check with the organizer or venue before you go. We don't run, endorse or take responsibility for the events and places listed.

Use your judgment when you go somewhere you found on Stow. Pay attention to your surroundings, respect private property, and don't use Stow while driving. A location in a public post is visible to everyone, so be careful about posting places that reveal where you or others live. Stow is not an emergency service.

8. Our rights

Stow, including the app, the website, our name and our design, belongs to Slow Range LLC. As long as you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Stow for your own non-commercial use.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.

9. Changes to Stow and to these terms

We may change, suspend or stop any part of Stow. When we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new version number and effective date. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Stow after that, you accept the new terms.

10. Ending your use of Stow

You can stop using Stow and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Stow or its users. Sections 4 (the part about the removed-listings record), 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 continue after your account ends.

11. Disclaimers

Stow is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that Stow will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Slow Range LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Stow or anything you find through it. Our total liability for any claim about Stow is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You agree to cover Slow Range LLC's reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, from claims that arise because you broke these terms or the law, or from content you posted.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or Stow will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
